Please send your child to school with sneakers on days they have PE. This is a safety issue.
Goals for the Year
The Goals for the Physical Education Program at the Acdemy of Dover are;
Participate safely and cooperatively in activities that require different movements and skills development.
Challenge the student to improve physically and socially.
Improve physical fitness. Shown by compairing the students results from the Fall to Spring Fitness Gram Assesment.
Provided information related to making good choices concerning their health.
About the Teacher
Hi!
I have been a resident of Delaware for the past twenty years.
I am a native of Long Island New York.
Attended Illinois State University on an athletic scholarship.
Graduated in 1976 with a BS in Education. Majored in Health and Physical Education with a Minor in Sociology
Recieved my teaching certificate from Illinois State University also in 1976.
While at Illinois State University I recieved a varsity letter for mens' gymnastic.
After graduation, I played 6 years of semi-professional baseball in New York and the US Virgin Islands.
Was the Womens' Varsity Gymnastic coach at Hofstra University, Long Island, New York for 6 years
In 2009 had my Delaware teaching certificate renewed In the areas of Health and Physical Education

Upcoming Tests, Quizzes and Projects
Welcome Back to a new school year.
As in the past we will be starting the year with the state Fitness Gram Test for all grades, football and soccer skills and introduce juggling during the first marking period.
